AlleyCat

As a child in the 80s, I enjoyed many hours playing AlleyCat on my dad's PC-XT with monochrome monitor. 

When I got a color VGA monitor, I was surprised to see the ugly CGA colors of the game ! And the idea of porting it to the MSX, the computer I love, stood with me for many years...

This is a port of the DOS game for the MSX2, with improved graphics and the same fun jogability of the original! It will be released as a cartridge, complete with box and manual, and the digital version for downloading and playing in your real msx or your favorite emulator!

Requirements:

- MSX 2 or emulator (openMSX, webMSX, Emulicious)

- 128kb VRAM

Additional requirements for digital version:

- Hardware: OCM (like SMX) or other MSX with mass storage, MegaFlashRom cartridge or equivalent 

- Software: MSXDos, MGLOCM, FL16

MegaROM type: ASCII8 

* This game does not work (yet) on sofarun or execrom using memory mapper or megaram *

If you have a OCM (like SMX), SofaRun will work if it load the game to the OCM (behaves like a flash cart). You can use MGLOCM as well.

In a Real MSX, you will need a MegaFlashRom or equivalent. You may use FL16 or FL8 to write the ROM to the cartridge, then use it as any other cart game for MSX - just plug it and play.
